The Joker

In 1965 the Goldberg-Miller Blues Band was gigging in Chicago and New York and appeared on Hullabaloo. Half the group’s namesake – Steve Miller – left the group for the psychedelic scene of San Fransisco and formed the Steve Miller Blues Band, which was shortened to the Steve Miller Band when they landed a contract with Capital records in 1967.
